Bahamas.
1. On March 12, 2018, the the USCG D7 was contacted by the Bahamas regarding a sinking cargo vessel carrying cement near Freeport in the Bahamas. Search and rescue underway for missing crew. Due to the location of the vessel, pollution effects to US waters or shoreline are not currently anticipated. THe SSC was copied on initial email exchanges and is standing by for further assistance if requested.
