Olympic Tug and Barge Grounding; Marginal Way S, Seattle, WA 98134, USA. Marginal Way S, Seattle, WA 98134, USA. 1. On June 26, 2019, USCG Sector Puget Sound contacted NOAA ERD to request a trajectory and resources at risk for a potential release from a barge carrying an estimated 3,000,000 gallons of oil that grounded at its berth at Pier 23 on Harbor Island, Seattle, Washington. This is a potential release, no spill has occurred at this time. 2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: HIGH SULFUR NO.6 FUEL OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 3360000 GALLONS. TAGS: GROUNDING. 3.
