“USCG MSU Galveston reports that they have received and gotten SERT approval on the Lightering Plan to begin at 0700 today. NOAA remains on standby monitoring the situation. If the lightering goes well, this incident will be concluded without a pollution event. This entry will serve as the Final Report unless this situation on-scene changes.” Current outcome is not independently verified by seahazards.[4]
