Crude Oil Discharged into Trench from Well Flowline; Louisiana.
LA.
1. On October 2, 2023, approximately 100bbl of crude oil was discharged into a trench from the Hilcorp Burrwood Canal #11 well flowline. Release is secured. No reported impact to waterways. OSRO is on-site performing flushing and skimming operations. The USCG requested NOAA on-site support.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 4200 GALLONS. TAGS: PIPELINE.
