Release on Oil Platform, Main Pass Block 35; Buras-Triumph, LA.
Buras-Triumph, LA, USA.
1. On November 8, 2023, A TPIC platform in Main Pass Block 35 reported a release of approximately 20bbl crude oil into the Gulf of Mexico from the flare scrubber. The release was secured and OSRO onsite. The USCG requested fate & trajectory.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 840 GALLONS.
