1. At 1352 EST January 18th Tug Southern Cross was reported grounded in Mamaroneck Harbor, NY. The vessel was reported to be carrying 5,000 gallons of marine diesel. Some fuel was in the water contained within surrounding boom. The vessel was expected to swamp on the incoming tide.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: MARINE DIESE. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 5000 GALLONS.
