M/V ANN PING 6; LONGVIEW, WA. LONGVIEW, WA. 1. Between 0545 and 0845 this morning (1/10/94) the vessel M/V Ann Ping 6 lost an estimated 26,000 gallons of fuel oil no. 6 while loading at the Long View pier in Longview, WA. An overflight this morning indicated that by 0900 sheen extended from Longview to just upriver of Coal Creek Slough (approximately 8 miles). There is no continuing release of oil into the water. . Daved Kruth of NOAA is en-route, a command post is being set up on Price Island by the Coast Guard. . If any of this initial information is incorrect, please let us know ASAP (at the above number) as it could affect any trajectory implications. USCG district 13. 2. COMMODITY: #6 FUEL OIL.
