T/B 563 and tug Charleston; Chesapeake Bay, Maryland.

1. On February 1, 1996, the tug Charleston reported that her tow, the T/B 563, had grounded with 15,000 barrels of diesel fuel onboard five nautical miles east of Tangier Island, in the Chesapeake Bay. T/B 563 was subsequently refloated with no damage or pollution. USCG district 5. Keyword: potential.
