USCG Sector Portland called about reports from Washington Department of Ecology of tarballs washing ashore over an approximately 10 mile area of shoreline north of Ocean Shores, WA between Moclips and Copalis Beach. They asked for information regarding potential natural sources and a general transport assessment.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: TARBALLS.
