Gulf of Mexico.
1. On 6 May 2015, the USCG MSU Morgan City contacted the NOAA SSC regarding a minor release (11 gallons) of crude oil from a platform located approximately 7 miles south of Isles Dernieres Barrier Islands Refuge. USCG is requesting information on fate and trajectory.
2. THREAT: OIL. COMMODITY: CRUDE OIL. MAXIMUM POTENTIAL RELEASE: 11 GALLONS.
