PMEL Wave Glider Search; United States. United States. 1. On September 25, 2016, one of the NOAA PMEL wave gliders stopped transmitting. PMEL has asked ERD to provide some modeling support to help with the search. The wave glider was lost between St. Paul I, and the mainland in the Bering Sea. 2. THREAT: OTHER. 3.
