1. THE INTERNATIONAL MARITIME ORGANIZATION (IMO) HAS ADOPTED A
   NEW TWO-WAY ROUTE FOR THE BONIFACIO STRAIT FOR VESSELS OF
   OVER 20 METERS IN LENGTH, AND A MANDATORY SHIP REPORTING
   SYSTEM FOR VESSELS OF 300 GROSS TONS AND OVER, EFFECTIVE
   010001Z DEC. THE REPORTING SYSTEM IS EFFECTIVE WITHIN A 20
   MILE RADIUS OF BONIFACIO (41-23.4N 009-09.6E). AN INFORMATION
   REPORT SHOULD BE PASSED TO BONIFACIO TRAFFIC ON VHF CHANNELS
   10 OR 16 PRIOR TO ENTERING THE SHIP REPORTING AREA IN THE
   FOLLOWING FORMAT:
   A. NAME-CALL SIGN-NATIONALITY-MMSI NUMBER.
   C. TIME AND POSITION.
   E. COURSE.
   F. SPEED.
   O. DRAFT.
   P. CARGO.
   Q. DEFECTS OR DAMAGE.
   R. POLLUTION INCIDENT OR LOSS OF CARGO.
2. CORRECTIONS FOR THE AFFECTED CHARTS ARE FORTHCOMING. LOCAL
   AUTHORITIES MAY BE CONSULTED FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
