WESTERN NORTH ATLANTIC. FLARE SIGHTED IN 23-53.5N 055-22.2W AT 290246Z. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO RCC NORFOLK, INMARSAT-C: 43070670, PHONE: 757 398 6231, FAX: 757 398 6392, E-MAIL: D05-SMB-D5CC@USCG.MIL.
