EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN SEA. CRETE-SOUTH COAST. DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED VICINITY 34-50N 024-52E. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE.
