SOLOMON SEA. PAPUA NEW GUINEA. 1. AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 292126Z MAR WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.2, IN 05-36S 151-36E. A TSUNAMI HAS BEEN GENERATED WHICH COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE COASTAL AREAS OF PAPUA NEW GUINEA TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL. 2. CANCEL HYDROPAC 1222/18.
