DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED ON 121.5 MHZ IN 47-20-06N 154-38-24E AT 142358Z AUG. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO JAPAN COAST GUARD.
