DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED ON 406 MHZ VICINITY 55-25-01N 153-56-38E AT 020254Z OCT. VESSELS IN VICINITY ARE REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO JAPAN COAST GUARD.
