SEA OF JAPAN. DNC 12, DNC 24. DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED IN 38-59.2N 133-24.4E AT 311214Z OCT. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO JAPAN COAST GUARD, PHONE: 812 5288 2611.
