DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED ON 121.5 MHZ VICINITY 17-23-13N 160-21-18E AT 251748Z APR. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO JAPAN COAST GUARD.
