THE GULF OF PANAMA IS A CRITICAL HABITAT FOR HUMPBACK WHALE MIGRATION AND BREEDING, AND FOR OTHER SPECIES OF WHALES FEEDING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. 2. 01 AUG THRU 30 NOV THERE IS A MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT OF 10 KNOTS WHILE TRANSITING THE TRAFFIC SEPARATION SCHEME IN AREA BOUND BY 08-00.0N 079-28.2W, 08-44.0N 079-28.0W, 08-44.0N 079-23.9W, 08-35.0N 079-20.9W, 08-00.0N 079-20.9W. 3.
