NORTH PACIFIC. DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED ON 406 MHZ IN 31-30-39N 157-36-54E AT 211628Z APR. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO JAPAN COAST GUARD.
