PACIFIC OCEAN. A VOLCANIC ERUPTION HAS OCCURRED IN VICINITY 20-30S 175-24W AT 150427Z JAN 22. A TSUNAMI MAY BE GENERATED WHICH COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO COASTS AND ISLANDS IN THE PACIFIC AREA. TSUNAMI WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
