1. REQUEST ALL CIVILIAN AND MILITARY AIRCRAFT CONTACT DIEGO GARCIA
   TOWER PRIOR TO REACHING 300 NM FROM NKW VORTAC.  COMMUNICATIONS
   WITH DIEGO GARCIA TOWER SHALL BE ESTABLISHED VIA HF ON 13254 KHZ.
   IF UNABLE ON HF, ATTEMPT CONTACT ON VHF 126.2 MHZ OR UHF
   340.2 MHZ. RADIO CHECKIN SHALL INCLUDE FLIGHT NUMBER, ALTITUDE,
   ORIGIN, DESTINATION AND AIRCRAFT NUMBER.
2. REQUEST ALL CIVILIAN AIRCRAFT REMAIN OUTSIDE OF 200 NM FROM NKW
   VORTAC. COMMERCIAL AND PRIVATE AIRCRAFT FLYING WITHIN 200 NM OF
   NKW VORTAC THAT DEMONSTRATE HOSTILE INTENT WILL BE SUBJECT TO
   BEING FORCED DOWN BY ARMED MILITARY AIRCRAFT.
3. IF NECESSARY, THE MILITARY HAS INDICATED THAT DEADLY FORCE WILL
   BE USED TO PROTECT THIS AREA FROM UNAUTHORIZED INCURSIONS. THE
   MILITARY WILL USE DEADLY FORCE ONLY AS A LAST RESORT, AFTER ALL
   OTHER MEANS ARE EXHAUSTED.
4. OFFICIAL CHARTS OUTLINING AIRWAY CHANGES WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE
   AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. IN ADDITION, ALL AIRCRAFT OPERATING IN THIS
   AIRSPACE, IF CAPABLE, WILL MAINTAIN A LISTENING WATCH ON VHF
   GUARD 121.5 MHZ OR UHF 243.0 MHZ.
5. IT IS INCUMBENT ON ALL AVIATORS TO KNOW AND UNDERSTAND THEIR
   RESPONSIBILITIES IF INTERCEPTED. REVIEW AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION
   MANUAL SECTION 6, 5-6-2 FOR INTERCEPT PROCEDURES.
6. A NEW COMPULSORY REPORTING POINT NAMED "RADEG" HAS BEEN
   ESTABLISHED AT 06-45.0S 065-59.8E (LOCATED BETWEEN TOPAN
   AND TOLID ON R212).
7. AIRWAY MODIFICATIONS FOR CIVILIAN AIRCRAFT ARE AS FOLLOWS:
   A. R212 REROUTED PERRY DIRECT RUGBI DIRECT KAMUN DIRECT PIBED.
   B. R212 CLOSED BETWEEN RADEG AND IDEVI.
   C. R329 REROUTED LEBOB DIRECT NOMIG DIRECT RADEG DIRECT PUPOD.
   D. R329 CLOSED BETWEEN LEBOB AND RUGBI.
   E. R348 REROUTED EGLET DIRECT KANSA DIRECT LELED DIRECT KADAP.
   F. R348 CLOSED BETWEEN NOMIG AND KAMUN.
   G. A327 REROUTED KANSA DIRECT LELED DIRECT KABTA.
   H. A327 CLOSED BETWEEN KANSA AND KABTA.
   I. G454 REROUTED NOMIG DIRECT RADEG DIRECT PUPOD.
   J. G454 CLOSED BETWEEN NOMIG AND MEGOK.

8. THIS NEW POLICY IS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
