SEISMIC SURVEY IN PROGRESS UNTIL 15 DEC BY M/V NORDIC EXPLORER TOWING FOUR ONE MILE LONG CABLES ALONG A TRACKLINE JOINING 05-31S 107-11E, 05-31S 107-17E, 05-29S 107-19E, 05-19S 107-19E, 05-19S 107-07E. TWO MILE BERTH REQUESTED. 2. CANCEL HYDROPAC 1480/01(62), OPERATIONS COMPLETED. 3. CANCEL HYDROPAC 1816/01(74), VESSEL ASSISTED. 4. CANCEL THIS MSG 16 DEC.

- Seismic survey
- A survey that maps the rock beneath the seabed with sound pulses from air guns, recorded on streamers kilometres long.
- Towed array / streamer
- Equipment towed a long way behind a vessel — sonar, a hydrophone cable, a sampling sled — invisible at the surface.
