DISTRESS SIGNAL RECEIVED ON 406 MHZ IN 39-09S 146-23E AT 021030Z DEC. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO RCC AUSTRALIA, PHONE: 6 126 230 6811, FAX: 6 126 230 6868, E-MAIL: RCCAUS@AMSA.GOV.AU.
