1. THE ANTI PIRACY PATROL-INDIAN NAVAL SHIP MYSORE (MYS)
IDENTIFIED A POTENTIAL HIGH THREAT FROM PIRATE ATTACK
IN LOCATION 13-39N 048-55E.
2. THE SHIP ENCOUNTERED A CONCENTRATION OF SMALL CRAFT
WITHIN 10 NM OF 13-39N 048-55E AT 030800Z DEC.
THE BOATS WERE INVESTIGATED BY THE SHIPS HELICOPTER
AND THE FOLLOWING EMERGED:
A. GROUPS OF SKIFFS OPERATING TOGETHER. GROUP BROKE OFF IN
DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS ON APPROACH OF HELICOPTER.
B. ALL SKIFFS OPERATING AT HIGH SPEEDS.
C. IN EXCESS OF FIVE PERSONNEL ON MOST SKIFFS.
3. RECOMMEND VESSELS BE ADVISED TO OBSERVE ALL ANTI PIRACY
MEASURES IN ABOVE AREA.
