AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED IN 05-54S 151-24E
AT 102048Z OCT WITH A PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.3.
A TSUNAMI MAY HAVE BEEN GENERATED. TSUNAMI WAVES
ARE POSSIBLE ALONG SOME COASTS. TSUNAMI WAVE
HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A
SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR
SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
