NORTH SEA. DNC 20. 1. SEISMIC SURVEY IN PROGRESS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY M/V WESTERN REGENT TOWING 8400 METER LONG CABLE VICINITY OF TRACKLINES BETWEEN: A. 56-10.0N 002-40.3E AND 56-08.0N 001-33.7W. B. 56-25.8N 001-32.7W AND 57-33.1N 000-13.0W. SIX MILE BERTH REQUESTED. 2. CANCEL HYDROLANT 2130/15.
Reading this warning
- DNC (Digital Nautical Chart)
- A reference to one of the regions of NGA's Digital Nautical Chart, used to tell the reader which charts a warning affects.
- Seismic survey
- A survey that maps the rock beneath the seabed with sound pulses from air guns, recorded on streamers kilometres long.
