RED SEA. 1. SEISMIC SURVEY IN PROGRESS UNTIL 11 DEC BY M/V WESTERN TRIDENT AND M/V WG VESPUCCI TOWING TEN FIVE MILE LONG CABLES IN AREA BOUND BY 27-48N 35-06E, 27-37N 34-47E, 26-53N 35-16E, 27-07N 35-42E, 27-26N 35-30E. WIDE BERTH REQUESTED. 2. CANCEL THIS MSG 12 DEC.

- Seismic survey
- A survey that maps the rock beneath the seabed with sound pulses from air guns, recorded on streamers kilometres long.
