GULF OF TONKIN. M/V HUONG DIEN 09, NINE PERSONS ON BOARD, SANK IN 20-44N 107-53E AT 180230Z DEC. VESSELS IN VICINITY REQUESTED TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT, ASSIST IF POSSIBLE. REPORTS TO MRCC HAIPHONG.
