1. EARTHQUAKE WITH PRELIMINARY MAGNITUDE OF 7.4
   OCCURRED IN 37-30.00N 137-12.00E.
   AT 010710Z JAN. TSUNAMI WAVES REACHING
   0.3 TO 1.0 METERS ABOVE THE TIDE LEVEL
   ARE POSSIBLE FOR SURROUNDING COASTS.
2. TSUNAMI ACTIVITY IS FORECASTED TO START AT
   THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
   A. NIIGATA 38-00N 139-00E AT 010750Z JAN.
   B. SAPPORO 43-30N 141-00E AT 010848Z JAN.
   C. VLADIVOSTOK 42-48N 132-00E AT 010857Z JAN.
   D. SHIMANE 35-48N 133-00E AT 010904Z JAN.
   E. SINCHANG 40-06N 128-30E AT 010904Z JAN.
   F. NAGASAKI 32-42N 129-42E AT 011212Z JAN.
3. TSUNAMI MAY BE A SERIES OF WAVES WHICH COULD
    BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS AFTER THE
    INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
