SOUTH CHINA SEA. 1. SEISMIC SURVEY IN PROGRESS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY M/V PACIFIC EXPLORER TOWING EIGHT FOUR MILE LONG CABLES IN AREA BOUND BY 05-59.5N 106-33.4E, 05-45.5N 106-54.5E, 05-16.5N 106-33.8E, 05-30.0N 106-12.8E. FIVE MILE BERTH REQUESTED. 2. CANCEL HYDROPAC 587/10.
Reading this warning
- Seismic survey
- A survey that maps the rock beneath the seabed with sound pulses from air guns, recorded on streamers kilometres long.
