CANADA.
TSUNAMI WARNING.
AN EARTHQUAKE OCCURRED AT 280304Z OCT WITH A PRELIMINARY
MAGNITUDE OF 7.1 VICINITY 52-54N 131-54W. A TSUNAMI
HAS BEEN GENERATED WHICH COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE
COASTAL AREAS OF BRITISH COLUMBIA AND ALASKA. TSUNAMI
WAVE HEIGHTS CANNOT BE PREDICTED AND MAY BE A SERIES
OF WAVES WHICH COULD BE DANGEROUS FOR SEVERAL HOURS
AFTER THE INITIAL WAVE ARRIVAL.
