GULF OF MEXICO. 1. SEISMIC SURVEY 21 FEB UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE BY M/V OSPREY EXPLORER TOWING 12000 METER LONG CABLE IN AREA BETWEEN 25-48N 27-10N AND 093-19W 095-26W. EIGHT MILE BERTH REQUESTED. 2. CANCEL NAVAREA IV 129/15.
Reading this warning
- Seismic survey
- A survey that maps the rock beneath the seabed with sound pulses from air guns, recorded on streamers kilometres long.
- Until further notice
- The operation or danger has no scheduled end; the warning stays in force until a later message cancels it.
